Strong Winds Whip Up Dust Storms on Eyre Peninsula

Winds of above 100 kilometers an hour across South Australia’s dry paddocks caused dust storms on August 2, reducing visibility to about 20 meters on Eyre Peninsula, the ABC reported.This footage, provided by Liz Pearson, shows the wind blowing across the peninsula on the morning of August 2. Pearson can be heard in the video saying: “Welcome to Tim Whetstone’s back yard. Nice, isn’t it, Tim?” Whetstone is Australia’s minister for primary industries and regional development.
