Founded in 2014 by Brandyn Burnette and Molly Moore, both of whom had already carved out a name for themselves independently on the west coast pop scene, Cosmos & Creature is an ebullient indie electro-pop duo based out of Los Angeles, California. Burnette had spent the prior four years signed to Warner Bros, where he, in addition to his works as a solo artist, penned a Juno Award-winning number one hit for Canadian pop/rockers Hedley and a U.S. Top 40 single for pop-rapper Jake Miller. Moore also found success as a solo artist, and had recently worked as a co-writer with Lea Michele. As a writing team, Molly & Brandyn have penned an album for Hasbro in addition to the latest viral single by Jesse McCartney. The duo began making waves in 2016 with the release of the singles "Young" and "Bright Side," the latter of which was a collaboration with Dutch DJ-and-production-duo Vicetone. "Bad Drug" & "Ride The Wave" were released as singles in 2017, followed by the release of "I Am Free" in April of 2018. The song has received widespread support from Spotify & Apple Music, climbing the viral charts in 13 countries & reaching nearly 2 million streams in 1 month.
