Skardu Fort or Kharpocho ( کھر فچو) means The king of Forts is a fort in Skardu city in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
The fort was built by the king Ali Sher in the end of the sixteenth century.
NOTE: if you want to visit skardu fort don't forget to take drinking water along with you. otherwise it can be dangerous for you. Diabetic patients should take some kind of energy drinks.
