Protesters shut down parts of Harare’s Central Business District on August 1, as early voting results indicated Emmerson Mnangagwa was in the lead to win the presidential election.His party, Zanu-PF, looked set to win the majority of parliament seats.In this footage filmed from the office of the Financial Gazette, people mob a car driving on Robert Mugabe Road in Harare. The reporter who took the video said protesters threw a brick through the window of the office, and a loud crash and the sound of breaking glass is audible in this video.Reports said supporters of the rival party, MDC Alliance, set a Zanu-PF flag on fire.On July 31 Zimbabwe took to the polls for the first time since the removal of Robert Mugabe, also a Zanu-PF member, as president in 2017.
