As demand for a separate state for North Karnataka grows with several leaders from the region spearheading the protest, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy lashed out at the opposition blaming them for fuelling unrest. The opposition BJP has slammed HDK saying that he is rejecting farmers demands from and is playing divide and rule policy by doing injustice to people of North Karnataka.
