Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim has urged the government to practice more caution when issuing statements, admitting that the latter has released some that have caused unease among various quarters.

He said this during a ceramah last night in conjunction with the Sungai Kandis by-election.

Although the PKR presidential hopeful did not specify which statements, he was believed to be referring to several recent statements by the government about the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) issue and the sales and services tax (SST).
