A Closer Look at Baracuta's "Since 1937″ G9 Harrington Jacket

With the launch of Baracuta's new website and online store, we decided to take a deeper look at one of its most celebrated pieces of outerwear throughout history, a piece that both dates back to the late 1930s and is synonymous with British menswear -- the heritage-rich G9 Harrington jacket. Worn by the likes of Elvis Presley, Peter Meaden, Steve McQueen all the way to Daniel Craig, the Harrington jacket is known for its versatility and timelessness, having been a choice garment in outerwear for more than 75 years. The G9 Harrington's ability to look the part in both formal and casual settings has made it a favorite amongst quite contrasting movements and subcultures -- sharing the stage with preps in Ivy League colleges, golfers, rock stars along with ruffians during the scooterboy boom.
