Northern rail chaos: People's lives 'almost unliveable'

The Director of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership Henri Murison says that people in the north of England have not just been inconvenienced but that their working and personal lives had become "almost unliveable". Travel disruption in the north has cost businesses more than £37m and led to a loss of more than one million hours, according to research from the Northern Powerhouse Partnership (NPP).
