'Mission: Impossible - Fallout's' Ving Rhames says a couple years ago a neighbor called the police to report that a “large black man” was breaking into his Santa Monica home, which was actually the actor himself. According to Uproxx, Rhames says in an interview, "I open the door and there was a red dot pointed at my face, and they said ‘Put up your hands!'". The situation deescalated only when one of the officers recognized Rhames.
