Korea's non-regular workers get paid less than half as much: Data
  • 6 years ago
A new report suggests.... monthly pay for non-regular workers in Korea is less than *half that of regular workers.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor says.... in May of this year,.... the average monthly pay for people employed on a regular, full-time basis.... was about 3-thousand U.S. dollars.
But non-regular workers, employed for less than a year or on a daily basis,... only got about 13-hundred dollars.
It also depended on how big the company is.
Firms with more than 300 employees paid around 4-thousand dollars... while those with fewer than 300 employees paid about 26-hundred dollars
