Why do people really pay for Amazon Prime?
According to Business Insider it's all about the shipping.
The Diffusion Group recently surveyed 1,160 Prime members to find out why they pay nearly $20 a month for the Amazon Prime.
79% of those surveyed point to the free two-day shipping perk.
Michael Greeson, president and director of research at TDG explained, "Prime is first and foremost about developing more and broader retail relationships, and free shipping is key to that mission."
Business Insider says that Prime is one of Amazon's largest drivers of growth.
It is also linked to members spending more money, more often on the website.
The survey also showed that the second-highest reason people pay is for Prime Video (11%).
