Firefighters battle blaze on London's Wanstead Flats

Firefighters tackle a blaze on Wanstead Flats, east London, on one of the warmest days ever in the UK.

Footage filmed today (July 27) shows firefighters battling the grass fire just north of Bush Road, Leytonstone.

Temperatures are expected to reach an all-time high of 37 degrees Celsius before thunderstorms cool much of the country off.
