ಬಿಡಿಎಯು ಇಂದಿರಾನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 657 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪವಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ 171ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯಲು ನಾವು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

The Bangalore Development Authority’s plan to redevelop its old commercial complex at Indiranagar at a cost of Rs 657 crore has run into opposition again. Residents have taken exception to the proposal, which involves chopping of 171 small and big trees.
