‘Treasure Quest’ Starts on Discovery August 24

The popular adventure series Treasure Quest will return to Discovery Channel Friday, August 24. The new season’s quest begins with a clue that points the treasure hunting team to a long-abandoned Jesuit monastery. BroadcastingCable.com reports that treasure hunter Shawn Cowles, tech specialist Jeremy Whalen and demolitions guru Jack Peters will head to Bolivia to search for the legendary Sacambaya Treasure, reportedly worth two billion dollars.
