An explosion at a polling station in Quetta, Pakistan, killed at least 31 and injured dozens more during the country's tense election.

Footage filmed on Wednesday (July 25) in the city's Eastern Bypass shows debris strewn across the street and damaged cars following the blast.

A suicide bomber reportedly detonated a device at the entrance to the polling station.

Terror group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
