Despite the horrific incident, Rootsman Kelly was insistent that the judging for his newly established calypso tent go on as planned Thursday night.

Pitched at Malmount in St. David, Roots Calypso tent members delivered a show for the judges, but also took the time out to express condolences to their tent leader for his sudden loss.
