MP seeks clarification on jurisdiction of CEP

MCA deputy president and Ayer Hitam MP Wee Ka Siong has questioned the powers that has been extended to the Council of Eminent Persons (CEP).
He said there were occasions where the CEP seemed to have made decisions for the government and questioned if they had the power to do so.
The Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) was set up to advise the government on economic and financial matters and will be disbanded after Harapan's 100 days in power.
