According to SFGate, "“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is the next series up for a reboot.
20th Century Fox has put a reboot of the Joss Whedon series from “Midnight, Texas” creator Monica Owusu-Breen into development. The reboot will have Joss Whedon as an executive producer and will feature a black actress as the lead. Fans like the idea of the new version of the series, but hope that it lives up to the incredible work that was created in the original television series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
