Hawaii Manhunt Underway After Cop Killed Near Lava Zone

A manhunt on Hawaii’s Big Island has been underway since Tuesday night when Justin Waiki allegedly shot and killed Officer Bronson Kaimana Kaliloa during a traffic stop.
Kaliloa, a 10-year veteran of the county police force, was shot in the neck and leg and died at a hospital early Wednesday.
The shooting took place on the eastern side of the island, nearby the erupting Kilauea volcano. Major Samuel Jelsma told Newser, "We don't anticipate him going toward the flow.
