No confidence vote comfortably defeated in Lok Sabha; PM Modi passes trust test. In a blow for the united opposition, the TDP's no-confidence vote against the Narendra Modi-led government was defeated. 325 Members of Parliament voted in favour of the government, while 126 voted against it.
