Got A Bike? Better Register It--Here's Why

If your bike is going to get stolen, well, it's going to get stolen.
But according to LifeHacker, there are some steps you can take to make it easier to get it back.
First take photos of it--and its serial number.
That way, the cops will have “probable cause” to stop riders on similar-looking bikes.
Then, register your bike--either with your city or with a community registration platform.
"Bike Index" or "529 Garage" are good ones.
