EU imposes anti-dumping duties on e-bikes imported from China

The European Union is also set to impose heavy anti-dumping duties on Chinese electric bicycles to prevent the flooding of cheap imports.
The European Commission says tariffs of between 21-point-eight percent and 83-point-six percent will be imposed on all e-bikes imported from China.
That includes those made by Taiwan's Giant,... the world's largest bicycle maker with manufacturing facilities in China and the Netherlands.
The commission explained that the number of Chinese e-bikes imported to Europe jumped three-fold from 2014 to 2017.
