The Protagonist, the Auguste, projected onto a huge screen of a pitoresque cinema as a metaphor for the subconscious mind of the audience, undergoes an existantial development, dreaming of his counterpart, the whiteface clown and finally finding his true identity, the immortal archetype of the Trickster.
Der Protagonist, als Dummer August auf die Leinwand eines pittoresken Kinos projiziert, stellvertretend für das Unterbewußtsein des Publikums, durchlebt eine existentielle Entwicklung, träumt von seinem Gegenpart, dem Weißen Clown und findet schließlich seine wahre Identität, den unsterblichen Archetyp des Trickster.
