TN director's sick comment while praising actor; equates rape to 'extreme love'

A director from Tamil Nadu has come out saying that if he were a girl, he would’ve raped actor Mammootty because that's how he enjoys watching him on screen. The comments were met by applause from the audience who clearly didn't have an issue with this director trivialising rape. At a time when India is grappling with increasing rape cases and assault against women, the cinema industry has been extremely irresponsible.
