NewsX has now accessed an exclusive copy of the report by the national commission for protection of child rights which has created a frame work through which parents will be part of the meeting when fee structures are decided for private unaided schools. The 38 page framework accessed by NewsX is applicable to all private unaided schools through the county. The report says that a district fee regulatory committee must be formed for regulation of school fee in all private schools. PTA should appear before district fee regulatory committee for every hearing on fee hike. This way parents will be able to able to express their views in case any fee hike is planned. According to guidelines, no school shall demand fee amounting to more than one quarter from any student at a time. The fee determined by every school shall be displayed on its notice board and their official website as well.
