Despite India confirming that it has submitted a formal extradition request against Zakir Naik in January this year, Malaysia claims that no such request has been made. Malaysian Human Resource Minister says that they're following the proper course of law which requires a deportation order from India, and further claims that India hasn't taken the necessary steps regarding the same. The Minister further added that it isn't for one government or man to decide Naik's fate.
