Best DIY Play Dough Recipe! How to Make Play Doh w/ Kool-Aid! Homemade Easy & Fun Playdoh for Kids!

Lets make our own Play-Doh!! ❤ Make homemade Play Dough with Silly AVAcado for a fun and easy DIY craft idea! ❤ We use mainly Kool-Aid but add food coloring to the yellow, blue and green playdough. We make some really pretty rainbow colors: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue and purple. The colors are really bright! The play dough smells really good with the Kool Aid and is a soft consistency. We store the homemade Play-Doh in seran wrap but you can also use Ziplock bags as a quick and easy storage idea. FYI, a small container of McCormicks Cream of Tartar from the grocery store made these six balls of playdoh and there was enough left for one more batch.\r

Ingredients:\r
- 1 cup flour\r
- 1/2 cup salt\r
- 2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar\r
- serving size bag of Kool-Aid or food coloring (or both!)\r
- 1 cup water\r
- 1 tablespoon oil\r
\r
Instructions:\r
Mix the dry ingredients in a pot or sauce pan. Add the water, oil and food coloring (optional). On medium heat, micx it all together until it forms a ball. It happens pretty quickly but you have to be sure to keep stirring the play dough mixture so it doesnt all stick to the bottom and sides. Carefully transfer the play doh to a plate to let it cool. Knead the play dough. Store in something airtight when not using. Enjoy! It is a great texture and smells sweet.\r
