Laura Ingraham Calls Trump's Criticism Of May In Sun Interview A 'Ridiculous Mistake'

Laura Ingraham has slammed President Trump's Sun interview.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham called President Trump's interview with the British newspaper The Sun a "ridiculous mistake."
In the interview, released on Thursday in the middle of Trump's visit to the UK, the US president said that British Prime Minister Theresa May ignored his advice on Brexit and her softened approach would "kill" any future US-UK trade deal.
Ingraham responded to Trump's remarks during a segment of her show, "The Ingraham Angle."
"If someone comes to our country, a foreign leader and criticizes our president or our policies, we don't much like that in the United States," Ingraham said. "And I think Donald Trump doesn't like that."
"It doesn't feel right," she added. "It was a ridiculous mistake."
At a press conference on Friday, Trump pushed back against the criticism over his interview.
"I didn't criticize the Prime Minister. I have a lot of respect for the Prime Minister," Trump said. "Unfortunately, there was a story that was done, which was generally fine, but it didn't put in what I said about the Prime Minister."
