Lava flowing from a volcanic fissure near Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano surged across the landscape on July 12, as seen in this video.According to the uploader, this video shows the aftermath of the July 12 earthquake at Kilauea’s summit. “This is the lava river flowing from fissure 8 a few hours after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake at the Kilauea Summit. The explosions at the summit cause a pressure release that pushes more lava out into the lower east rift zone.”The quake took place early on July 12, at 5:46 am, the United States Geological Survey reported.
