According to a report by Reuters, five of seven board members of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority resigned on Thursday, leaving the utility in a power-vacuum amid a massive restructuring effort in the wake of devastation caused by Hurricane Maria last year. The resignations come just one day after PREPA named Rafael Diaz-Granados, as chief executive starting July 15th.
