A judge was charged with a misdemeanor after dropping his gun in a courthouse in Cook County, Illinois, on July 3. Security footage from the courthouse shows 70-year-old Judge Joseph Claps dropping the gun in front of two Sheriff’s deputies.Clap was reassigned to non-judicial duties until further notice, according to local reports.The judge was carrying the gun under his left arm when he dropped it.
