Scientists Make Leap Forward In Creating HIV Vaccine

According to research recently published in the Lancet, researchers have made an important breakthrough towards developing a vaccine to protect against HIV.
Business Insider reports Most attempts have failed because the virus is able to rapidly mutate, making most vaccines ineffective. However, scientists in the US have created a vaccine that has managed to get to the first step, with almost 400 healthy uninfected adults mounting an immune response to the vaccine.
