Player Attack is back for 2018! Season 6 of Australia's independent video game tv series will continue to bring you all the latest in gaming news, plus interviews, reviews and features from the world of video games.
This week's episode has taken the procedurally-generated train going anywhere.
We dive right in to danger, darkness and ...dwarves, which are an interesting addition to the sci-fi FPS genre. The game is called Deep Rock Galactic, and as well as the good guys with big beards, there are plenty of procedurally-generated caves, hordes of monsters and plenty of treasure to discover.
Nate and the Two Hour Team transform into the Heroes of Hammerwatch, which is quite a different procedurally-generated experience. It's a rogue-lite action adventure with persistent progression, and you can play by yourself or with up to three mates. The question asked by the team, though: Is it worth your money?
And we embrace our trainspotter status, spending some quality time with the best transport managers on the market - some of which you can even play while travelling!
