National Testing Agency to conduct NEET & JEE (mains) twice a year from 2019; practical or vialable
  • 6 years ago
It's the government's biggest examination reform; the HRD minister has announced that the newly formed national testing agency will conduct NEET & JEE (mains) twice a year from 2019. The best score of both exams which the students appear would be taken into consideration. Apart from NEET and JEE main, NTA will also conduct national eligibility test, common management admission test and graduate pharmacy aptitude test exams. Javadekar says that all these exams would be computer based and leak proof. He said computer centres will be set up in areas where there’s no access to computers so that students can practice from August end or September for the exams. While the opposition has targeted the centre, the big question is— is this examination change practical & viable?
