In Thursday night previews, the latest Marvel flick took in $11.5 million. This number easily surpasses the original 'Ant-Man’s' $6.4 million and tops the $9.4 million for 'Doctor Strange'. On Friday, the movie will open in nearly 4,100 theatres across the United States. The $80 million is peanuts compared 'Avengers: Infinity War', which has now passed $2 billion worldwide. Analysts currently predict the sequel to rake in over $200 million domestically. Even though $80 million is not considered huge for Marvel, 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' is still expected to be a box office success.
