Abandoned dog rescued after falling into septic tank

This was the moment a stray dog was rescued after falling down a septic tank.
Neighbour Fah Songsana, 40, heard the seven-year-old female whimpering at the bottom of the 8ft deep hole.
Rescuers arrived and plucked the muddied mutt to safety. She emerged dazed and confused into the sunlight but soon settled down in the village in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on June 13 at 3pm.
Fah said: ''I'm not sure who the dog belongs to, but I have seen her wandering around before. I heard yelping inside the hole and went to look.
''She must have fallen down there because the lid is not secured. I'm happy she was rescued and we're going to fix the lid so it doesn't happen again.''
