Smart dog helps herself to some ice from the fridge

This puppy is really feeling that summer heat – and she's found that helping herself to some ice from the fridge is one way to deal with it.

In the video shared to Facebook by Gail Carew, the seven-month-old Aussie Shepherd is standing at the fridge on her hind legs.

"What do you think you're doing, hey?" Her owner is heard saying.

With her paws, she tries to move the ice cube into her mouth, but it falls to the floor. The dog eats the ice with a satisfying crunch.
