Idris Elba To Play Villain In ‘Fast And Furious’ Spinoff Movie

According to Uproxx, Idris Elba has been cast as the main villain in Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's 'Fast and Furious' spinoff movie 'Hobbs and Shaw'. Production on the film is set to commence this fall with 'Deadpool 2' director David Leitch on board to helm the action movie. 'Hobbs and Shaw' sees Johnson and Statham reprising their 'Fast and Furious' roles as special agent Luke Hobbs and criminal mastermind Deckard Shaw. With Elba's casting and role revealed, it is presumed the film will see the often-at-odds pair teaming up against him.
