A passenger jumped out of a lorry before it flipped over at a turning in southern China's Hunan Province on June 30.
The CCTV video, filmed in Xiangtan City, shows a lorry carrying a digger starting to tilt when it turns a corner at speed.
A man sitting on the passenger's seat opens the door and jumps out of the lorry before it tips over on the road and throws the digger off.
According to reports, the passenger only had scratches and the driver had several fractures but his life was not in danger.
