Scarlett Johansson To Play Transgender Man In New Film

According to The Huffington Post, Scarlett Johansson will star in “Rub & Tug.”
Directed by Rupert Sanders, the film is being marketed as a mob drama, like “American Hustle.”
Johansson will play Dante “Tex” Gill, described by some news outlets as a transgender man.
Dante operated a slew of massage parlors in the 1970's in Pittsburgh’s underground sex industry.
But Scarlett Johansson's decision to play a transgender man is reportedly not going over well.
