Should something go wrong, first try running the Windows 10 troubleshooter which can automatically detect and try to fix problems with updates and patches. Windows 10 also requires quite a bit of free disk space on the hard or solid state drive in order to install. If the storage drive is full, or is a small one to begin with, room needs to be made.
