Metro Stalled, Smog Looms; Who Will Really Deliver For Delhi

SC while giving its verdict on who is the boss in Delhi the three judge bench comprising of CJI Misra, J Khanwilkar and J Sikri said that all constitutional functionary must uphold constitutional morality and must function with the spirit of the constitution. The order further stated that the Union and state govt should develop a structure to avoid any kind of discord. It also observed that Delhi can't have powers of a full state and that governor of a state is different from governor of a union territory .After supreme court's verdict it remains to be seen how long now the Delhi Government will take to fix the various issue in the national capital which that had alleged could not be completed due to centre's obstructionist attitude.
