Marlon Stockinger - the next big sports star from the Philippines

Could this be the next big sports star from the Philippines? Already contracted to the front-running LotusF1 team as a junior driver, Manila's Marlon Stockinger gave a taste of F1 to his home city last weekend via the Manila Speedshow - the first occasion on which an F1 car has ever run in the Philippines. With two LotusF1 cars on hand, plus Team Principal, Eric Boullier, Marlon whipped up the crowds with some spectacular donut spins on closed city roads. He also gave an eloquent, poised performance in front of government dignitaries and sponsors that belied his 22 years. In this video he talks about his early days in Manila, his rise through the lower motor sport ranks - one that already includes a spectacular GP3 win at Monaco - and his respect for one of the Philippines' greatest sporting exports, boxer Manny Pacquiao.
