According to a report by Reuters, utility companies in the United States' Northeast expect to have enough power to keep up with demand as homes and businesses crank up the air conditioning to cope with a heat wave. Temperatures are reportedly expected to hit their highest so far this summer, reaching the 90s this week in the biggest US Northeast cities.
