President Donald Trump wants Norway to spend more on defense as a NATO partner. But it’s not only Norway but other NATO allies that Trump is pressuring to boost their spending. According to CNN, Trump is threatening allies of shifting the U.S. military presence in Europe. Increasing defense spending above the NATO recommended minimum is a huge debate in the U.K. right now. As of now the U.K. is only spending about 2 percent of GDP on defense spending.
