Rios Wins Controversial Split Decision

InThisCornerTV.com was at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for what turned out to be a very dubious victory for undefeated Brandon Rios over Richard Abril. Rios, who failed to make the 135 lb weight limit didn't appear to be at full strength and Abril proved to be quite a slick and crafty fighter. However, the judges gave the fight to Rios much to the chagrin of the most ringside observers. Afterwards, Smitty spoke with Rios and his trainer Robert Garcia.
