More than 1,200 firefighters are battling a wildfire raging out of control in Northern California.
The wildfire threatens homes and other structures as thick black smoke drifts across the San Francisco Bay Area.
The so-called County Fire, has blackened more than 50 square miles of land since Saturday.
Officials ordered evacuations in several Yolo County communities.
Crews worked through the night to cut control lines around the blaze, which grew by one-third overnight Sunday.
