Ashad Masam is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu calendar. This entire month is considered inauspicious. Newly wed couple are not allowed to stay in the same house. And in some families I have also seen that Mother-in-Law and Daughter-in-law don’t stay in the same house as well. No idea who or how these beliefs came into existence. Ashada Masa 2018 is from July to 29 June to July 27, 2018. Kumara Sashti, Shami Gowri Vrata, Bhanu Saptami, Chatur Mas Vrata and Bheemana Amavasya are some of the auspicious days in the month.
