Croatia became the fourth team to qualify in quarter finals of FIFA World Cup 2018 after beating Denmark by 3-2 in penalty shootout. The match was extended to penalty shootout after 1-1 draw in full time at Novgorod Stadium. Croatia will face Russia in quarter finals on July 7. Both the teams opened the score in the early minutes of the game. Ivan Rakitic scored the winning penalty goal to seal the deal for Croatia.
