Over 1000 pilgrims reported stalled at Pahlagam and Balatal base camps, Amarnath Yatra halted

Over 1000 pilgrims are reported of being stalled at Pahlagam and Balatal base camps. The 3rd batch of Amarnath Yatra has been halted at Tikri, Udhampur base camp due to the landslides triggered by heavy rainfall and hailstones on various places of Jammu-Srinagar highway. The pilgrims are safe and comfortable. The current halt is precautionary and the Yatra will resume soon.
